Enlisted 15th October 1942 into the Royal West Kents. Transferred to the Buffs and then the Durham Light Infantry
Fought in North Africa, Sicily and Italy Went to France on D-Day. Wounded in France and returned to the UK, Stonehouse Emergency Hospital, Lanarkshire, Scotland before being returned to active service
Died 4th October 1944 Holland
