Family Son of Peter and Elizabeth Huntley, 27 Bedford Road, Horsham His father Peter was baptised at Southwater on 17th August 1862, the son of a farmer.
John had emigrated to Austalia and was recorded as being a salesman, single, from East Cannington, Western Australia and his father Peter Huntley, Broadwater Lane, Southwater Younger brother of WJ Huntley, tobacconist, West Street, Horsham John attended Roffey School and was apprenticed to Messrs Tanner & Chart. He emigrated to Australia in 1911, intending to follow his trade as a draper’s salesman, but went into fruit farming with a brother
