RAC 5th (3rd Battalion The Tower Hamlets Rifles) Regiment Died 13th February 1944 Age 30 Cemetery Minturno War Cemetery, ITALY III B 7 Family Elder son of Lawrence William and Ethel Amelia Moore of 3 Council Cottages, Station Road, Southwater. Husband of Hilda Maud Moore Trooper Moore joined up in 1940, saw service in India, the Middle East, Sicily and Italy with the Armoured Corps. Before military service he worked for David Greig at Horsham before managing several branches in London. His brother Bob Moore served with the Royal Sussex Regiment and the Coldstream Guards.
